You should be looking for a forum which is literally placed in the very original country... there are plenty of them in the USA, or England...
But, what about improving your language skills first, in order to have a conversation with people who share your own mentality and experiences, before trying to connect directly with people who speak english as a first language?

            Anyway, glad to meet you.

M.a.r.c.o., with all due respect, maybe you'd better improve your english, before leaving...
with "like" you have to put the "ing" form, yes: "I like skiing" for istance, but in this case you should have said: "I would like to meet people..."

With "you won't have other chances" elodron meant that if you go there, you won't meet anyone but english people. If you have problems understanding a written text, remember that understanding people speaking english in real time, is much more difficult.

Anyway, London, unless you're not going to attend a school, is not the best place to learn english "on your own": they speak a terrible "slang" there, much better edinburgh for example.

I think you should go there only if you attend a course, or with someone who can understand and be understood a little better than you do
