I found out that I can't be complitely myself when I speak english... I've been with a girl that I met in California for more then 8 months, but I feel that I can't express myself as I would. Usually when I speak italian I'm very ironic and I spit a lot of stupid and funny things, but it's hard to do the same thing in english. I also have an hard time to be romantic and say sweet words to her...and this is so sad!! Actually something changed when I came back to italy... When I was in the USA it was much easier and more natural for me to express my feelings, but now that I'm here I have to force myself and make a big effort to talk and show my feelings to her.

if you think in italian you have a hard time to speak english..

No I don't think this is the problem...infact, expecially when I was in the U.S. I didn't think in italian at all...actually I even used to dream in english!!

I think that no one (who isn't English or American person...) can speak English without thinking of what are you saying in your own language...it's impossible!!! only native speaker people can do it!!! if there's someone that don't contend, he/she gets wrong...

anyway...I prefer speaking into english...it's my second language...

I love speaking English

....but I can't do it in this country...

someone could make fun of me...

How can u guyz maintain your english? I noticed that since I came back from California I lost some of my fluency and vocabulary... Luckily I have my girlfriend that lives there and she often call me, then I kept in touch with a lot of friends all around the world! This help me a lot.. I'm also attending the Wallstreet Institute, but is not so useful...

It can happen......

A true story..

A friend of mine who ,even being married , liked very much to
go out with young chiks..
But he had a problem ... in his sleep he used to
dream and mention the name of the girl he
has been out with...
His wife got suspicious and started asking questions
hearing different names of girls..

He asked advice from us in the golf field...

A friend told him ...every time he met a girl
he intended to.....he should tell the girl
" I don"t care what your name is ,.
Me I will call you Claudette.."

That was the name of his wife...

For a while his wife was happy....

Even that it ended up by divorce..
